Backup and restore sits in the free tier deliberately. Locking someone out of their own photos to sell an upgrade is not a business model.
Common questions
Does it work with no signal?
Yes. Everything runs on the device, including generating the PDF. Basements, lift shafts, plant rooms and remote sites are all fine. The only time the app touches the network is to check a Google Play purchase.
Can I put more than one photo on a single snag?
Yes, and every photo can carry its own caption and its own mark up. This is the main reason people move across from other snagging apps, most of which allow one photo per item.
Is there a subscription?
No. The app is free to use, and Pro is a one time purchase of A$29.99 through Google Play. There is no account, no seat pricing and nothing to renew.
What do I get without paying?
The free version runs 2 projects with unlimited snags and photos, full mark up, and real PDF export. Exported reports carry a small credit line in the footer. Backup and restore is never restricted.
Can each trade get only their own snags?
Yes. Assign each snag to a contractor, then export one filtered report per trade. The plasterer gets the plastering list and nothing else, which is usually the difference between a snag being actioned and being ignored.
Where is my data stored, and can you see it?
On your phone, in the app's private storage. There is no server, no account and no analytics, so there is nothing for us to look at. You can export a full backup to a single zip file and keep it wherever you like.
Is there an iPhone version?
Not at the moment. The app is Android only. If enough people ask for iOS it will get built, but it would be dishonest to promise a date today.
Can I put my own logo and ABN on the report?
Yes. Your company name, logo, ABN and the inspector's name, email and phone all go on the report, so what lands in the client's inbox looks like your document rather than an app's.
